 Pat Fraley - the LA-based top voice actor, teacher, director and producer - confesses to a frustration:"A while back, I became frustrated with the myriad of opinions concerning the approach to voice-over auditioning, performing and demo creation," he says.
"So I hired the very best of our industry to learn what they want, straight from the horse's mouth."
The result: Pat's one-day workshop in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 31: Everything They Expect You To Know, But Nobody Teaches.
"I can't bring them all to this studio in LA," he says about his industry contacts, "but I sure can bring their incredible insights."
In the event title, the THEY refers to casting people, agents, producers and directors.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Of course, Fraley is a sought-after pro himself - an industry veteran of 35 years with an ever-growing network of colleagues and contacts.
 At this event, he'll be joined in teaching by top voice actor Vanessa Marshall.In addition to learning practical skills while recording at the studio, the participants will discover what the industry's top casting people demand from home auditions, call-backs and sessions, says Fraley.
The voice acting skills include how to break down a script in seconds.

Limited to just 12 participants, the workshop will be held at World Famous Buzzy's Recording, 6900 Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles. Tuition is $595 for the event, slated for 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
