That's what leading voice talent and trainer Deb Munro delivers this year in her new Audition Acrobatics / Voice Pitch weekend workshops.

"This is the best class I've ever put together," says Munro, whose audio production studio and Mic 'N Me voice-over training firm is based near Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

The training is targeted to "advance your voice acting skills, or create skills you haven't yet discovered," she explains. It will also help students devise a "comprehensive marketing package that will put you one step ahead of the game," she adds.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Munro has shaped the weekend training into two distinct paths:

Day 1: Audtion Acrobatics

"This is an entrie class about auditions, from beginning to end," Munro explains. All sessions are recorded for students to take home.

The day includes:

in-person vs. online auditions
discovering what the client wants
choosing the right delivery
taking risks - how to stand out
directed audition(s) and submission
on-mic auditions throughout the day

Day 2: The Voice Pitch

In this workshop, participants create a Voice Pitch (marketing) package. Topics include:

voice characteristics
bio
cover letter
resume
web site
demo
demo packaging
how to stand out
contacts for getting started
finding work
