Voice Over’s Stars Shine Sunday Night
At 11th Annual Voice Arts® Awards Gala

(VOXtra) – From the glittering Red Carpet to the bubbly closing reception, the 11th Annual Voice Arts® Awards Gala – presented Sunday night in Los Angeles by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) – honored the voice over industry’s top achievers and associated craft professionals.

In scores of a growing field of international categories, winners of the prestigious 2024 Voice Arts® Award were announced and celebrated at the Beverly Hilton International Ballroom, in Beverly Hills, CA.

Award categories spanned from audiobook narration to websites, and in many languages including African, Arabic, English, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish voices.

Among top winners are:

• Simon Kennedy (pictured) for Outstanding Body of Work – Best Voice Actor,
• Francisco Paz for Outstanding Body of Work – International – Best Voice Actor, and
• Vero Lopez Treviño for Outstanding Body of Work – Best Spanish Voice Actor

The Gala also traditionally honors achievers who have made a significant difference in lives and careers through their actions and inspiration. This year’s recipients are:

• Voice Arts Lifetime Achievment Award: VO promo legend and trainer Joe Cipriano,
• Voice Arts Icon Award:  Actress, comedian and TV host Niecy Nash-Betts  (pictured below, at right with SOVAS Chairman and CEO Rudy Gaskins and SOVAS Executive Producer Joan Baker), and
• Muhammad Ali Voice Of Humanity Honor: Actor Mahershala Ali.
