2013 AUDIES AWARDS Congratulate All 2013 Audie Award Winners: Kellgren & Ballerini Named Top Narrators May 31, 2013
(VOXtra) - Popular audiobook narrators Katherine Kellgren and Edoardo Ballerini (both pictured) won top awards at the 2013 Audie Awards Gala in New York City Thursday night - Kellgren for best Solo Narration/Female, and Ballerini for best Solo Narration/Male - leading a field of many who received hoops and hollers and well-deserved applause for their winning achievements.
Sponsored by the Audio Publishers Association (APA), the 18th Annual Audie Awards on May 30 at the New York-Historical Society was an elegant gathering of audiobook authors, narrators and publishers celebrating the most prestigious awards in the U.S. honoring audiobooks.
The Audies are often referred to as the "Oscars" of spoken word entertainment.
