This 5-week home study
course by Patrick Fraley guides you
through the process of making demos that catch and keep the attention of agents
and buyers for commercial, character, video game, audiobook and long narration
work. The course includes guidance in preproduction, saving money, working with
producers, and more. You’ll receive an email link to the weekly audio lesson on
five consecutive Saturdays, then record the optional homework for teacher
review. Recorded homework may be used on a demo if the sound quality is good.

Voice Mystery, an original 30-minute audio mystery full of dames, private
dicks, and ne’er-do-wells. During a full day of discovery, voice talent Patrick
Fraley is joined by Joan Baker, co-founder of Push Creative ad agency, to
help you uncover clues to: performing multiple characters, styles and themes;
the "implied action” technique that’s critical to animation and video game
projects; comedy skills; and ensemble acting. You’ll come away with quality
snippets for character demos. Host Fraley is among the top 10 performers of all
time to be cast in animated TV shows. Joan Baker is known for her ability to
engage students on a visceral level to help them connect with current trends. Teacher
