PEOPLE Through The Eyes Of A Child ... I'm A Super Hero - Talking To Myself  By Pierre MilanVoice Actor I was working on a spot for a client that called for me to do the Big Movie Trailer or Super Hero-type voice. So I grabbed a cup of Joe and hit the booth. My six-year old son Nigel heard me warming up and sat down right outside my door as I began to cut the spot. After about 30 minutes or so I finished and was doing a bit of editing, removed my cans, and just used my studio monitors. After adding music and getting the levels just right I cranked the spot a bit and let her rip. And I thought it sounded pretty good. When the 30-second spot finished playing I turned around and there was my son, whom I didn't know had been watching from the very beginning of the process. He looked at me with that look every father hopes his son gives him. And he said, "WOW Dad! That was amazing! When I grow up I
want to sit in a room, drink coffee and talk to myself on really cool
music just like you!" Then he turned, still in his pajamas with his Batman Cape and Mask, and began to recite the words from the spot I was just working on as he jumped down the stairs into our living room. That's when it hit me. Through the eyes of my child ... I am a Super Hero, coffee drinking, crazy guy that sits in a room all day talking to myself. AND HE WANTS TO BE JUST LIKE ME! I almost teared up. "Hey Nigel. I LOVE YOU TOO, SON!" ABOUT PIERRE ...
